WALT: Write 100 in 10 minutes 

this week we had to write 100 words in 10 minutes this quick write was quick and we do this every week but this is my story about the man.

In the cold dark night, the wind blew and a man showed up. He was standing tall with a light shining behind him, he made sure no one saw his face. He moved quickly and quietly. Then he saw an opened window and he jumped into it as soon as he got through he found a broken door. He then quickly broke it down and investigated the home but to his surprise, no one was there. He looked out the front door and found footsteps with a pool of blood next to them. Then he thought that´s strange. Went inside and closed the door knock knock

WALT: Solve multi-step maths word problems

This week we worked on our math word problems and we had to use multiple ways to work out our problems. I enjoyed using the strategy Place value partitioning (to break down the numbers to hundreds, tens, ones when using +, -, x, ÷) and next time I could take more time when I'm working out my problems.

This week we have been working out maths word problems on our math slides.  I like that I used a key to show my working out when I was borrowing from either the tens or the hundreds place.

Maybe next time I could write all my working out more neatly.

Numeracy 123 k6-10

This week I worked on my new numeracy 123 booklet. The first one I worked on was very easy all of them are easy but on this sheet I had to find how many 10s are in these numbers here is my work. my score 28/28

Need for speed

WALT: Create our own fast car

For this Inquiry task we had to draw a fast vehicle and we had to describe it and it's features.  I wasn't able to get a picture of my drawing (I need to finish it), but I based it on a Ferrari SF90.  

Features: 

• Nitrous
• Tinted windows
• Speed - 950km per hour
• Green and black (two toned)
• 2 door
• Cost 1.8 million 

My favourite part of my car would be the colour.  I would like to improve by thinking about more ideas and features to put on my car.

Sandman

WALT: write 100 or more words in 10 minutes  

Blurb: We were doing some quick writes and I used Pobble and found this 'The Sandman' image. I wrote about it and here is my story.

The sandman he travels in a boat picking up the lost souls in the desert gives them apples and water just know when you get on on the boat there is only one way to death. Max Selwyn an explorer got lost in the desert after his plane crashed. He wandered days without food or water on one day he thought death was in front of him but he thought he was alienating but he wasn’t. death gave him apples, water, and a boat and told him to find lost souls and bring them to him. pick apples on the way with water then give it to them and take them to their last stop. Max did what he was told to do but he was terrified of death and every stop he grew more afraid of he had enough he took his eyes out he thought death would get rid of him death doesn’t give up that Max found that out the hard way now max was told to find everyone on this list and you will be free one day a man saw Max but what he could see was a man with a long beard that went down to his shoulders, Max said you lost john then john face went pale white and asked how he knew his name well I was gifted this by death and wants you in person...
